Join Elite Chess in its effort to bring high quality chess tournaments to the west suburbs! We hope to have 160 players attend, will you be one of them?

Description: Chess tournament with 6 rated sections (U600, U900, U1200, U1500, U1800, and Championship).  All sections are 4R/SS G45 +5 second delay.  A Bughouse Challenge will take place during lunch. USCF membership required for rated sections.

 

Prizes:  U1200, U1500, & U1800 Sections: $200-100-50; Championship Section: $250-125-75.  Trophies will be awarded to the top 5 finishers in the U600, U900 sections.  All players will receive a ribbon and Bughouse Challenge winners will receive unique trophies.

 

Where: Goodwin Hall - Room 411 at Benedictine University:  5700 College Rd, Lisle, IL 60532.

 

Rounds: 9:30am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm.  NOTE - U600 & U900 rounds paired ASAP. 

 

Registration: Fee is $40 ($35 for U600 & U900) if registered by 7/21. Fee is increased by $5 if registration takes place after 7/21. No On-site registration.

 

2000+ rated players play for free.  Bughouse Challenge is free for all participants.  Tournament capacity is 160 players.
