All 2020 Summer Camps Will Be Held Virtually

It looks like many of the opportunities and plans we had for our kids will be canceled this summer.  Our hope is to help fill the void for your family.  Elite Chess has been effectively delivering virtual chess classes since March and we are excited to offer virtual chess camps to the community this summer.  Each camp meets daily for one week and all curriculum will be delivered via Zoom in a small group setting.  Please email us with any questions.   We think you, and your kids, are going to love these camps!

This camp is designed for students who are looking to explore the worlds of science, technology, engineering, math and chess all at the same time!  Each day will consist of 1 hour of chess instruction and 1 hour of STEM.  Curriculum will be delivered via Zoom.  Project supplies will be delivered to your home.  Students must live in the Chicagoland area or the surrounding suburbs.  Capacity is 14 students per camp.  Informational parent meeting will take place prior to camp for registered students.

Intermediate/Knight/Bishop Level Camp - 2020

These camps are intended for students who already know how to play the game of chess and want to improve their skills. The camps focus on fundamental strategies that will lead to better understanding of the game of chess and more victories. The culmination of each camp is an exciting chess tournament where prizes will be awarded to the top 2 finishers.

Advanced/Rook Level Camp - 2020

These camps are intended for chess students who are looking to improve their tournament results. Camps focus on the intricacies of chess strategy and how to turn these ideas into victories. A USCF playing strength of 900+, or completion of an Intermediate Camp, is a good benchmark for the advanced level. The culmination of each camp is an exciting chess tournament where prizes will be awarded to the top 2 finishers.
