2026 Summer Camps
Summer is the perfect time for your child to discover a new passion, re-engage with an old hobby, or pursue excellence in an activity they already love. Our 1 week summer camps provide a unique opportunity for kids to start reaching their potential.
In 2026 we will be offering full-day STEM Camps, half-day combo camps, and 2 hour chess camps in Naperville and Wheaton.
There is an Elite Camp for the Midwest's top players too!

Elite Chess 2026 Summer Camps

During this one of a kind camp, kids will learn, explore, and be inspired by STEM and chess topics all day long! Each day consists of at least 1.5 hours of chess, 1 hour of technology/coding, 1.5 hours of engineering, and 1.5 hours of science/math experimentation. Camp is taught by certified classroom teachers and our Elite Chess coaching staff. Students will be grouped by grade (Incoming 1st-3rd graders and Incoming 4th-6th graders).
This year's special project will be the engineering and construction of 6 foot medieval trebuchets that can launch basketballs up to 100 feet!
Sign up soon as capacity for this camp is only 14 students per grade level group. Students must be incoming 1st-6th graders to attend.

The other 50% of camp will be learning chess strategies and skills to take their chess to the next level!

The other half of camp will be learning chess attacking strategies from our Elite Chess Staff that will grow their mind and improve their results on the chess board!

This camp sold out last year, so we are bringing back (and adding a 2nd week)! Half of camp will be spent learning defensive and attacking chess strategies from our Elite Chess Staff. The other half will be spent learning the different table tennis shot types and the fundamentals of offense and defense. Table tennis will be taught by renowned coach, and one of the highest rated table tennis players in Illinois, Maria Kretschmer.

Rocketry was a blast as the main engineering project in our Full-Day STEM Camp, so we decided to feature it on it's own this year! Half of the camp will be focusing on strategies that will supercharge their chess skills. The other half will be learning the parts, physics, and construction of rockets. Students will get to design and build their own rocket and launch it at the end of camp.

We are so excited to add this amazing camp to our rotation! Half of the time will be spent learning positional chess ideas that are guaranteed to improve each student's understanding of chess. The other half of camp will be spent playing the Pokemon Card Game and other strategy games that will expand each student's mind. Chess will be taught by our Elite Chess staff and Pokemon/Games will be taught by Mike Kristula, the owner of Treasures Game & Toy Store in Naperville.

The other 50% of camp time will be learning how to code and solve coding challenges using Minecraft Education Edition's Code Builder. This one of a kind camp strengthens both mind and body! In chess, students will learn the key aspects of middle game strategies. In soccer, students will focus on fundamentals and intricacies of dribbling, passing, and shooting. Chess will be taught by our Elite Chess Staff and soccer will be taught by the legendary soccer coach, Jim Konrad. As Head Soccer Coach at Naperville North High School, Jim has won 4 state titles, has over 400 career wins, and has multiple state and national coach of the year awards.

This incredible camp will be a combination of chess, laser tag, dodge ball, gaming, and arcades. Students will spend half of their time learning endgame chess strategies that will revolutionize their chess results. The other half of their time will be spent doing all of the fun and physically engaging activities that Chasers Laser Tag has to offer!

This camp focuses on mastering endgame fundamentals so players can easily convert their winning positions and even be able to turn losing positions into wins. Students will learn to play like a boa constrictor, utilize their pieces to full capacity, and protect their pawn structure at all costs. They will learn to play like a world champion!
