During this one of a kind camp, kids will learn, explore, and be inspired by STEM and chess topics all day long! Each day will consist of at least 2 hours of chess, 2 hours of engineering, and 2 hours of science/math experimentation taught by certified classroom teachers and our Elite Chess coaching staff. Students will be grouped by grade (Incoming 1st-3rd graders and Incoming 4th-6th graders). This year's special project will have students team up to completely design, build, and race a soap box derby car. And by race, we mean they will actually be inside of their car and steer them on their own! Sign up soon as capacity for this camp is only 14 students per grade level group. Our half-day combo camps are an amazing way for kids to get high-level training in chess and another fantastic activity! We've partnered with local experts in various fields to provide unique opportunities that we know your kids will enjoy. Each day will consist of 1.5 hours of chess and 1.5 hours of the combo activity. These camps are geared for beginners to advanced students who are entering 1st - 8th grade (please email for grade exceptions). Students can stay at the center all day if they are doing a morning and afternoon combo camp. Chess and Table Tennis Camp - $247 (At Capacity) We are so excited to add this amazing camp to our rotation! Half of the camp will be spent learning the different table tennis shot types and the fundamentals of offense and defense. The other half will be spent learning chess from our Elite Chess Staff. Table tennis will be taught by renowned coach, and one of the highest rated table tennis players in Illinois, Maria Kretschmer. Dates and Time: 6/10-6/14 (9am - 12pm) Location: Elite Chess Center Chess and Archery Camp - $247 Back by popular demand! Students will spend half of their time learning the fundamental aspects of archery and shooting a bow. The other half will be learning chess from our Elite Chess Staff. Archery will be taught by Tammi Colburn of Nock and Feather Kustom Archery in Aurora. Dates and Time: 6/10-6/14 (1pm - 4pm) Location: Elite Chess Center Chess and Chasers - $247 This incredible camp will be a combination of chess, laser tag, kick ball, nuclear ball, battle bots, and arcades. Students will spend half of their time learning chess and the other half doing all of the fun and physically engaging activities that Chasers Laser Tag has to offer! Dates and Time: 7/8-7/12 (9am - 12pm) Location: Chasers Laser Tag - Naperville Chess and Soccer Camp - $247 This one of a kind camp will be a combination of chess and soccer. Students will focus on fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and shooting. Chess will be taught by our Elite Chess Staff and soccer will be taught by the Head Soccer Coach at Naperville North High School, Jim Konrad. Dates and Time: 7/8-7/12 (1pm - 4pm) Location: Chasers Laser Tag - Naperville Chess and Art Camp - $247 This unique camp will be a combination of chess and drawing as an art form. Students will learn shading. Chess will be taught by our Elite Chess staff and Art will be taught by certified art teacher, Andrew Jensen. Dates and Time: 7/15-7/19 (9am - 12pm) Location: Elite Chess Center Chess and Lego Robotics Camp - $247 (At Capacity) This STEM based camp will be a combination of chess and Lego Robotics. This camp is designed to push the skills of the Midwest's top junior chess players to reach new heights. Students will be given over 20 hours of instruction from some of the best coaches in the world and surrounded by other premier players from the region.
