DuPage County Chess Championship

​Do not miss the last big chess event of 2025!  In 2024 the DCCC had over 170 players, so spread the word and let's get to 200 this year!

​

Description: Chess tournament with 6 rated sections (U600, U900, U1200, U1400, U1600, and Championship). All sections are 4R/SS G45 +5 second delay. Top boards will be broadcast on DGT Boards.  A Bughouse Challenge will take place during lunch. USCF membership required for all sections.

 

Prizes: Championship Section: $275-150-100, Top U1800 finisher $125; U1200, U1400, & U1600 Sections: $225-125-75. Trophies awarded to the top 10 finishers in the U600, U900 sections. Bughouse Challenge winners receive unique trophies.  Participation ribbons for all players.

 

Where: Goodwin Hall at Benedictine University - Room 411 - 5700 College Rd, Lisle, IL 60532.

 

Rounds: 9:30am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm.  NOTE - U600 & U900 rounds paired ASAP.

 

Registration: Fee is $40 ($35 for U600 & U900) if registered by 12/22.  Fee is increased by $5 if registration takes place after 12/22.  No registrations accepted after 12/27.  2000+ rated players play for free.  Bughouse Challenge is free for all participants.
