Ira Jones Chess Program

​

The Ira Jones Chess Program is open to all Ira Jones students, who already know the rules of chess.  Students will receive strategic chess instruction in a fun, welcoming environment and will benefit from the program for years to come.

   Program Details:

• Classes taught by Mr. Hill from Ira Jones and Elite Chess coach Andrew Jensen

• Classes meet every Tuesday from 1/30 - 3/12 (7 classes)

• Classes run from 3:15 - 4:15 pm in the Media Center

• Students will receive a chess team t-shirt

• Program will finish with an end of session tournament

• Program fee: $90
