Madison Elementary Program

​

This program is designed to use chess to challenge and inspire the students at Madison Elementary. The program is open to anyone in grades 2-5 who already knows the rules of the game (a beginner club may be offered in the future). Students will learn at least one new strategic topic each class and the program will culminate with a fun chess tournament with trophies going to the top finishers.

   Program Details:

• 6 after school chess classes from 3:30 - 4:30 pm

• Classes meet on Wednesdays in Room 1

• Class dates: 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14

• Program fee: $70 - This includes a chess club t-shirt

• This program's capacity is 16 students
