Chess Program

The St. Mary's Chess Program is open to any St. Mary's student in grades 5th - 8th grade. Students will receive strategic chess instruction in a fun, welcoming environment and will benefit from the program for years to come.

   Program Details:

• Classes taught by 1 Elite Chess Coach & St. Mary's Staff Member, Mrs. Jansen

• Classes meet every Monday from 9/15 - 11/3 (No School 10/13)

• Classes run from 3:15 - 4:15 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room

• Students will receive a chess team t-shirt

• Program capacity is 20 students

• Program fee: $98 (7 classes plus t-shirt)
